![]() ![]() Then I restarted and for now it appears to work with my 18.04 installation. UPDATE: I booted a live CD I have of Ubuntu 20.04 to see if it worked there. I'm confused about all of this because I'm not sure if it's the dualboot or my house network (which works fine with other devices). The Wifi seems to work with my phone and roommates laptop (only Windows) but not for me.Īt first I thought it was a hardware problem with the wifi card, but if I create a wifi hotspot with my phone and connect to that it works fine, both on Windows 10, and Ubuntu. However, I'm starting to have problems with Ubuntu now. The same is happening now with a new laptop (Ubuntu 18 and Windows 10 dualboot) and a different house wifi. After installing the proper drivers for Ubuntu through the terminal, the wifi worked fine on Ubuntu but constantly had problems on Windows (Connected but no internet etc). I had these problems with my previous laptop (using a different wifi).
